Rachel Derocher, a clinical social worker with 15 years of experience across the justice, nonprofit, education, community services and health sectors, is dedicated to helping people live fulfilling lives.
In her practice, she employs Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help individuals embrace their thoughts and feelings without judgement, encouraging alignment with their core values and commitment to enriching actions. Simultaneously, she uses Narrative Therapy to assist clients in re-authoring their personal stories, fostering new perspectives, and over coming limiting beliefs.
Rachel’s empathetic and collaborative approach creates a therapeutic environment where clients feel understood, accepted, and motivated to pursue their goals. Her passion for personal growth empowers clients to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and confidence. She believes in the inherent dignity and worth of all people and their right to lead a valued, authentic, and meaningful life.
