Adrian Cameron is a mental health professional born in Monterrey, Mexico, and immigrated to Canada in 2003 after completing his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Adrian found his home in British Columbia where he, in addition to learning English as a second language, continued his educational endeavours and completed a diploma in Criminology at North Island College. In British Columbia, for over 10 years, Adrian supported people with intellectual disabilities and those struggling with mental health issues, as well as volunteering counselling services for non-profit organizations before making Nova Scotia his home. 

Adrian has been focusing his training on trauma and has experience working with first responders, 2SLGBTQ+, and multicultural populations. He uses different methodology approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and is committed to working with clients with the goal of empowering them to live their best lives. 

Adrian graduated from the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University in 2021, and is a member of the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT), as well as a non-certified member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy association.
